I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed every bite, every gathering, and every moment of downtime. Before the week gets away from you, take two minutes to jot down anything that would be helpful for next year—what you ran out of, what you could have prepped earlier, what recipes were the biggest hits, anything you didn’t need, or even timing notes for the turkey. You will be so grateful to have that list next November! As we ease into December, my brand-new December cooking class drops on Monday, and it’s a good one—festive, doable, and full of fresh ideas. And my 2025 Gift Guide is posted on Substack. It is hands-down my best one yet. I hope it brings you inspiration for everyone on your list (and maybe a few ideas for yourself!).
Here’s your dinner planner for the week:
Meatless Monday: Avocado Sweet Potato Tacos from Love & Lemons + Authentic Mexican Black Beans
Tuesday: Turkey Avgolemono Soup: This one feels especially meaningful to me. I pulled out the very first piece of Staub cookware I bought nearly 30 years ago, and now Staub has brought it back as part of my own collaboration—such a full-circle moment! You can find both the 1.5-quart and 3-quart saucepans through the links provided.
Wednesday: Easy Acqua Pazza + sauteed swiss chard
Thursday: Rotisserie chicken + Roasted Vegetables with Carrot Romesco Sauce
Friday: Pistachio-crusted Salmon + Farro Salad with Fennel and Roasted Butternut Squash
Saturday brunch: Whole wheat pumpkin muffins
Sunday: Baked Asian Turkey Meatballs, black rice (aka forbidden rice) and Asian slaw
