Happy New Year, friends. I’m so grateful you’re here and that you trust me in your kitchens, whether you’re cooking for yourself on a quiet weeknight or feeding people you love. That never feels small to me. As we head into a new year, my hope for this community is simple: that cooking feels more nourishing than stressful, more empowering than overwhelming, and a little more joyful than it did last year.

If you’re looking for support in that department, my January online cooking class is live, and I’d love to have you join. It’s one focused hour each month you can watch on your own time, designed to help you become a more confident, efficient, and healthier cook without perfection or pressure. Subscribers also get access to the entire library of classes, which is basically a greatest-hits collection of how I actually cook.

And if you haven’t yet, be sure to check out my weekly Substack, where I share favorite things, useful finds, and what’s been inspiring me lately. In the next newsletter, I’ll be sharing how I approach the new year and spoiler alert: it has nothing to do with unrealistic resolutions or punishing resets. Just thoughtful habits that actually stick.

Wishing you a happy, healthy start to the year. Let’s cook our way into it together.

Here’s your dinner planner for the week:

Meatless Monday: Mushroom-barley soup with kale + crusty bread
